Innovating People & Culture

Strategic support for teams shaping the future of work.

Your people strategy shapes everything: how you hire, lead, learn and adapt. Yet, in many pioneering teams, ‘HR’ feels outdated, unclear or simply too small for how you really work. Let’s rethink People & Culture so your practices grow from your values, not from default templates.

Whether you’re crafting your first people strategy or evolving what’s already there, I bring experience, sharp questions and a calm outside view to support the evolution and integrity of every part of the employee journey. Think of this as a working relationship where we translate your values strategically into everyday choices, in how you hire, lead and collaborate. No new plans, but new ways of showing up.

What we’ll do

This is a co-created offering. Depending on your context, it may include:

  • Strategic advice on People & Culture, Learning & Development, and ways of working
  • Culture and (leadership) team assessments
  • Mentoring or sparring for founders, lead links, or team leads
  • Design and facilitation of org-wide learning processes and workshops
  • Training or coaching for managers, high performers and teams
  • Ongoing support to shift patterns and behaviors, not just treat symptoms.

You bring your questions and vision for the future. I bring perspective and hands-on support to move you(r team) towards it.

Is this for you?
You’re building something where people and shared power matter. Maybe a scaleup, collective, network, movement or something entirely your own. You work with Holacracy, sociocracy, SMO principles or other forms of distributed leadership. You are navigating real complexity and want your people practices to evolve with it. You take culture seriously and are committed to genuine change, not performative purpose or quick fixes.

I work best with thoughtful, visionary builders, women-led startups, systems changers, freelancers-turned-founders and neurodivergent teams.

Maybe you’re:

  • Feeling the limits of traditional HR or leadership models
  • Looking to invest in learning and development but unsure where to start
  • Ready to grow your team intentionally
  • Seeking sparring on structure or culture tensions
  • Leading without a clear People & Culture vision or support to build one

If this sounds like you, welcome.

What to expect

We start with a conversation to understand your context and needs. From there, we shape our collaboration. Whether that’s a one-off strategic session, a long-term partnership, coaching or something else entirely.

Work can be done remotely or in person (if you are in the Netherlands). Whatever the format, you can expect clear next steps and thoughtful guidance to help you act on what matters.

Investment

Pricing depends on the format and scope of our collaboration. Let’s start with a short, no-strings conversation to explore what’s needed.

What others say

Check out what other’s say about me & our collaboration.

I felt stuck in my role, even though I was part of a team where I truly felt at home. The sessions with Annemieke gave me a fresh perspective and helped me out of an unintended tunnel vision.

Somehow, I think Annemieke already sensed where things were going. I don’t know how she does it, but her questions shifted my thinking and helped me make decisions I hadn’t been able to reach on my own.

I’ve since found a new job, and I now honour the connection with my former colleagues as the friends they’ve become.

Annabel

After 10 years of working independently, I was suddenly faced with a new opportunity in paid employment. A big shift, and I wasn’t sure what to do. In just one session, Annemieke helped me break it down. She asked the right questions that opened up new ways of thinking. It helped me see possibilities I hadn’t considered, and it became clear what I needed to do. I left with guidance and confidence to take the next step.
